Dudkaš "chimney," literally "smoke extractor," from dud, → smoke, + kaš "to extract, to draw," present stem of kešidan/kašidan "to carry, draw, protract, trail, drag" (Mid.Pers. kešidan "to draw, pull;" Av. karš- "to draw; to plow," karša- "furrow;" cf.
