→ justice, + setân agent noun of setândan “to obtain, to take,” from Mid.Pers. statan “to take, seize;” Av. (+ *fra-) frastan- “to take, convey forward;” Proto-Ir. *staHn- “to take;” cf. L. prae-stināre “to buy, fix a price” (Cheung 2007).
