The Triangle. A small northern constellation between → Andromeda
and → Aries, at 2h right ascension, 32° north declination.
Its three brightest stars, of magnitudes 3.0, 3.4, and 4.0, form a small, elongated
isosceles triangle. One of the constellations listed by Ptolemy.
The famous → spiral galaxy → M33
lies in Triangulum. Abbreviation: Tri; genitive: Trianguli.
