from prefix vi- “apart, away from, out” (Av. vi-; O.Pers. viy- “apart, away;” cf. Skt. vi- “apart, asunder, away, out;” L. vitare “to avoid, turn aside”) + râstan “to arrange, to set in order,” → coordinate.
