An Etymological Dictionary of Astronomy and Astrophysics

An engineering system which uses → fuzzy logic. It
generally consists of four main components: → fuzzification interface (fuzzifier), → fuzzy rule base, → fuzzy inferencing unit, and
→ defuzzification interface (difuzzifier). Also called → fuzzy inference system.
